First Friday
Downtown Camas offers many events and gatherings throughout the year. "Camas First Fridays" occur throughout the year on each first Friday of the month. Art exhibits featuring local artists, dining, and themed shopping events that provide fun for all are part of each First Friday line-up. In July, the theme is "Rock 'n' Roll Night" which includes a cruise-in with classic and specialty cars along the streets of downtown with Rock 'n' Roll music on the streets and in the downtown stores. The First Friday in August brings the "Camas Art and Music LIVE!" theme with fine art and local musicians throughout downtown. December's event is "Hometown Holidays" with a community tree lighting ceremony, beautifully lit decorations along our main street (4th Ave.), caroling, Santa, and boutique shopping events.
First Friday - October 2nd
Artwalk, Dining, and After Hours Shopping 5-8pm: "Pumpkin Pageant". Join the fun of judging pumpkins in every shop. Drawings are held for prizes.
First Friday - November 6th
Artwalk, Dining, and After Hours Shopping 5-8pm: "Favorite Recipes". This is a night your stomach will enjoy as you sample bites of some of the favorite recipes of downtown Camas.
First Friday - December 4th
Artwalk, Dining, and After Hours Shopping 5-8pm: "Hometown Holidays". Caroling, tree-lighting, and specials in every store. Shop locally this holiday.
